A sandstorm is affecting flights between Ireland and the Canary Islands.
There are disruptions to scheduled arrivals into Cork and Shannon today, with the latter this morning hit with a four-hour delay.
High winds have whipped up sands from the Sahara desert, which are now affecting the group of islands.
The Canary Islands are roughly 60 kilometres off the coast of Africa.
