One of Ireland’s top financial software firms, Fenergo, has announced 300 new jobs for Dublin as part of a €100 million innovation drive.

The fintech company is doubling its Irish workforce with the creation of 300 new roles at its global headquarters in Dublin, following the launch of a new Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I) Centre of Excellence. The expansion is being supported by Enterprise Ireland.

In total, 500 jobs will be created globally by Fenergo over the next three years, driven by growing demand for its AI-powered software, which helps financial institutions combat financial crime and streamline compliance.

The new positions, which are already open for recruitment, include mid-level engineering and R&D roles, with a graduate programme also launching to take on up to 30 university graduates.

Fenergo, founded in Dublin in 2009, has become a global leader in Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) and anti-financial crime software. Its growing product suite is used by banks and financial institutions worldwide to meet complex Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.

CEO and founder Marc Murphy said the jobs reflect strong confidence in Dublin as a hub for tech talent and innovation:

“With AI at the core of our strategy, we’re building the future of compliance technology right here in Dublin. These roles will power solutions that support banks around the world in navigating growing regulatory and geopolitical complexity.”

Enterprise Minister Peter Burke welcomed the announcement, calling Fenergo “a standout Irish success story” and praising the tech sector’s role in reinforcing Dublin’s position as one of Europe’s leading innovation hubs.

The news comes alongside record-breaking export figures released by Enterprise Ireland today. Irish companies supported by the agency reached €36.75 billion in exports in 2024 – a 7% increase on the previous year, with the technology and services sector alone hitting €9.05 billion in overseas sales.
