The Prodigy Return With 2022 Tour Announcing: “This One’s For Flinty

The Prodigy have announced dates for a new live tour, stating that “This one’s for Flinty”. 

The band are set to return with a run of shows across England in July. This tour is coinciding with the 25th anniversary of their album ‘The Fat Of The Land’.

“We can’t wait to get back onstage to play our tunes for the people again”, The Prodigy wrote on social media. “The 25th anniversary of ‘Fat Of The Land’ felt like the right time for us to step up”.

“This one’s for Flinty”

In the same post, The Prodigy were quick to dedicate these shows to their late frontman Keith Flint. Keith Flint died from suicide three years ago.

“This one’s for Flinty…Now let’s f****n go!”, they wrote. The band even hinted at the possibility of new music being released.

This tour will see the Prodigy play shows at places like Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, and Newcastle. It will then enjoy a three night set at Brixton, London.

The Prodigy Continue To Remember Flinty 

Following Flint’s death, The Prodigy have paid tribute to their frontman and “brother”.

Over the weekend, the band paid tribute to Flint marking three years since he died.

“Its been three years … We miss u every single day brother, but we feel u always with and around us”, the Prodigy’s Maxim and Liam Howlett wrote. “Your Fire will never go out. Stay Punk brother. We live forever!”. 

The Prodigy paid a similar tribute to mark Flint’s birthday last year.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLINTY !.. “We miss u so so much .. “u are in our thoughts everyday…. “RAISE THE ROOF BROTHER, “WE WILL FOR YOU ! X”, they wrote.
