A young woman who spat at a Garda in Dublin and said she was “awaiting a COVID-19 test” has been charged.
The incident happened yesterday evening at 6.20pm at St Attracta Road in Cabra.
The woman approached a Garda car and began banging and shouting at it.
When the Garda stepped out of the vehicle, the woman spat at him and claimed she was awaiting test results for Covid-19.
The woman was arrested at the scene and brought to Blanchardstown Garda station where she was subsequently charged.
Last week a Sligo woman was jailed for 28 days for coughing in the face of a Garda.
