Young Woman Beaten And Robbed On Her Way To Work In North Dublin

Gardai have launched an investigation after a young woman was thrown to the ground, physically assaulted, and robbed in an early morning attack.

The woman has been left traumatised after the hoodlums attacked her as she walked to work in Finglas at 6.25am this morning, 30th of November.

The brave victim managed to fight back and bit one of the men. However, they still were able to get away after with a silver iPhone 8 Plus.

The incident took place on McKee Avenue and the woman has since warned others in the area to be on the lookout.

She said via Dublin Live:, “One threw me to the ground and dragged punched and kicked me and robbed my iPhone 8 Plus it’s silver with a crack on the back of it…”

“Lucky enough I tried my absolute hardest to fight back protecting myself by punching and biting one of them but they got away and imagine going out to actually hit a girl just for a phone?”

“Everyone in that area please be vigilant around Finglas Village, absolute scumbags the lowest of the low!”

Fianna Fail’s Keith Connolly told news outlet that the attackers fled on bike and that gardai arrived quickly.
