The plan to redevelop Dublin’s Parnell Square as a ‘cultural quarter’ has been approved by An Bord Pleanala.
Costing €110 million, it will include a new city library, a conference centre and a public plaza.
The Irish Times reports that the main city library will move from the Ilac shopping centre to eight refurbished and extended Georgian houses.
