Rare footage of AC/DC's Brian Johnson singing Toto classic 'Hold The Line', has resurfaced.
Footage of this was taken from September 2001, two months after AC/DC had finished their Stiff Upper Lip tour, when frontman Brian Johnson played a short tour with Geordie II, a tribute act to his former band, Geordie.
Geordie II performed a few shows across the North East of England, including two nights at Newcastle, as well as Stanley, Hebburn, South Shields and Middlesbrough.
On the opening night of this tour, Johnson played on stage at Newcastle's 1,200 capacity, where fans watched the singer perform with the band, featuring guitarist Derek Rootham, drummer Dave Whittaker, and bassist Dave Robson. None of these musicians had featured in the original Geordie line up.
While performing some songs from the band's debut album, Geordie II, performed a range of covers, including Led Zeppelin's Rock And Roll & Black Dog, as well as Rainbow's Since You've Been Gone, as well as AC/DC's Whole Lotta Rosie.
On top of this, the Brian Johnson fronted Geordie II also treated fans to a live rendition of Toto's 'Hold The Line'.
Footage of this shows Johnson donning a Newcastle jersey, as he sings the track in full AC/DC style.

Elsewhere, Brian Johnson and Geordie also recorded two tracks in a studio together, a new version of Wor Geordie's Lost His Liggy, and Byker Hill. These tracks featured on two compilation CDs from Hohnson, The Northumbria Anthology - From Tees To Tyne and The Northumbria Anthology - From Tyne To Tweed.
Last month, former AC/DC singer Dave Evans performed a range of classic tracks from the band from a live show in France. Check this out and Nova's report here.
