Foo Fighters have shared snippets of new music for their fans.
The band have hinted new music with a 19 second video on social media, with the caption: "This is just a test", with fans speculating that this video will contain at least 12 separate songs. See the post in full here.
This also comes as frontman Dave Grohl shared the news of a reported finished album, while playing the Australian leg of their 'Take Cover' tour. This marked the band's first performance down under from this tour.
It would also mark the band's first album since But Here We Are in 2023.
News of this also comes after the band had announced that Pat Smear will miss upcoming Foo Fighters shows due to a "bizarre gardening accident", with Jason Faulkner deputising in his absence.
This was confirmed by the band who said that this incident seems to follow the "classic tradition" of rockstars who have suffered garden-based accidents, with Smear reportedly "smashing the s**** out of his left foot" as away of ringing in the new year.
“This means he’ll unfortunately be missing a few shows while the multiple broken bones in his foot heal. We’ll miss our beloved Pat as much as you will, but we want him fully healed and back on his feet as soon as possible".
