Dublin city centre has lost another one of its beloved restaurants after a Baggot Street staple announced it will be closing its doors.
The popular spot's owners announced it would be closing after a recent takeover of the premises, which is located on Upper Baggot Street.
They made sure to thank their customers for all of the support they received over their 36 years in business.
'It has been our family, our memories, and our second home. To have watched generations walk through our doors - celebrating milestones, sharing laughter, and becoming part of our extended family has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives.'
'We poured our hearts into every dish, every conversation, and every moment,' they penned.
Customers were 'heartbroken' upon hearing the news, taking to social media to share their fondest memories at Langkwai.
'So sad to see this. Favourite restaurant ever, celebrated so many occasions there. Was hoping to visit soon. Certainly, the end of an era. Happy Retirement, Alex,' one person wrote.

'Ah, no, I’m heartbroken. Langkawi was always my favourite place to celebrate,' a second said.
A third customer added: 'Very best of luck, Alex and crew, in your future journey. You will be sadly missed by all the people who loved Langkawi. Best restaurant in Dublin.'
