The Rolling Stones have announced their new single, Jealous Lover.
The track features on the band's upcoming album, Foreign Tongues, which arrives next month, their 25th studio record overall. Along with Steve Winwood, Jealous Lover also features guitar work from Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards, as well as Steve Jordan on drums and Darryl Jones on bass.
According to a press release, Jealous Lover will "deliver a pointed warning to an over-inquisitive lover", combining R&B groove with vocals from their frontman, Mick Jagger.
As for Foreign Tongues, the album will include guest appearances from The Cure's Robert Smith, Paul McCartney, and Red Hot Chili Peppers' drummer, Chad Smith.
Speaking about the band's recording sessions, Mick Jagger told the Press Association: "It was a very intense few weeks recording Foreign Tongues. We had 14 great tracks and we went as fast as we could".
He continued: "I like the room there as it’s not too big, so you can feel the passion in the room from everyone".
Ronnie Wood said that recording this album saw the band "on top form", adding: "Very often we nailed it on the first take. I hope everyone loves it".
Elsewhere, Keith Richards said to the Press Association that this album would be "a continuity from Hackney Diamonds", while adding: "It was great to be working in London again, and to have that London vibe around us".
Earlier this week, Mick Jagger also delivered a surprise performance of a famous folk song at a pub in Oxford, England, where he visited with his partner, Melanie Hamrick, who is a guest at Oriel Park.

News of this also comes as the official soundtrack for the 2026 FIFA World Cup were announced, which would feature the Rolling Stones, as well as artists like Shakira, Stormzy and others. The band's track, 'In The Stars' features on the list.
