The ballet, set to the music of Aerosmith, will premiere in Virginia by the Virginia National Ballet's production.
The performance will be staged at the Hylton Performing Arts Center's Merchant Hall in Manassas on May 2, 2027 and will showcase music from the band's 1970s peak alongside the hits that defined their MTV era.

"Get ready to experience ballet like never before. Virginia National Ballet’s Aerosmith is a bold, electrifying world premiere that fuses the power of rock with the artistry of dance," the organisers said in a statement.
"Set to Aerosmith’s greatest hits, this high-energy production will have audiences on the edge of their seats – in a performance that is pulsing with rhythm, attitude, and unforgettable choreography," they continued.
The ballet's performance is not limited to Aerosmith music, it also includes Nocturne and Pictures at an Exhibition.
This isn't the firt time the worlds of rock and ballet have crossed paths. In 2023, the UK's Birmingham Royal Ballet launched a hit production inspired by the music of Black Sabbath.
Contemporary choreographer Michael Clark has created works featuring songs by The Fall, Wire, Laibach, David Bowie, Iggy Pop and Lou Reed.
Aswell, Porte Rouge, a ballet featuring orchestrated Rolling Stones music by Mick Jagger, made its New York debut in 2019.
