Rock Choir Ireland will give people the chance to see them perform at two Dublin locations Saturday, September 12.
The choir will perform at Bewley’s on Grafton Street at 9am, 10am and 11am before heading to St Ann’s Church on Dawson Street.
Rock Choir founder Caroline Redman Lusher MBE will be in Dublin for the first time to lead a free singing workshop at St Ann’s from 11.30am to 1pm and again from 2.30pm to 4pm.
The workshops are now fully booked, but a waiting list has been made available for anyone who missed out. You can access it on rockchoir.ie.
Rock Choir is a community choir with no auditions and no previous musical experience required. Participants learn and perform songs together as part of choirs across Ireland and the UK.
The Dublin visit follows a recent joint performance by the Belfast and Dublin Rock Choir groups at Dundrum Shopping Centre, where the singers surprised shoppers with a flash mob.
Rock Choir also recently performed at the Fleadh Cheoil in Belfast. The group’s Irish community has grown following the success of its performance of Dreams at the Giant’s Causeway, which has now passed 10 million views worldwide.

The visit also comes as Rock Choir’s new term gets underway from September 14, with new choirs opening across Dublin and surrounding areas.
Anyone interested in joining can attend a free taster session during the first week of the new term.
There are no auditions and no musical experience is needed to join Rock Choir.
