The Dublin band will make history next summer when they take to the stage at the Co Meath venue for two shows on Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27, 2027.
The concerts will be the band's biggest performances in Ireland to date. With Slane Castle capable of welcoming around 80,000 people, as many as 160,000 fans could attend across the two dates.
A portion of the proceeds from every ticket will go towards Focus Ireland, with the charity confirming that €1 from each sale will be donated to support its work tackling homelessness.
Fontaines D.C. have previously backed Focus Ireland and performed as headliners at the charity's Rock Against Homelessness event in 2020, helping raise funds for its services.
Focus Ireland welcomed the band's latest contribution, describing it as a significant gesture from one of Ireland's best-known music acts.
The charity also thanked the band and concertgoers, saying the donation would help make a difference to people affected by homelessness.
The two Slane Castle performances are expected to attract huge crowds, while the charitable contribution will ensure that fans attending the shows also help support Focus Ireland's work.
