Netflix have shared a first look at their Pride and Prejudice adaptation as the streaming giant confirms its release date.
The newly released images offer a first glimpse at the star-studded cast in character, including Emma Corrin as the main lead Elizabeth Bennet and Jack Lowden as the dashing Mr Darcy.
Olivia Colman is transformed into Mrs Bennet in full period costume, while Rufus Sewell looks equally different as Mr Bennet, sporting longer grey hair for the role.
And Irish star Daryl McCormack also stars as Mr Bingley in the show.
The images debuted as Emma Corrin wrote on Netflix UK’s Substack: 'Like most people, I fell in love with Elizabeth when I first read Pride and Prejudice in my teens, and have spent the years since navigating situations wondering… well, what would Lizzy do?

For those who didn't see the original, the synopsis reads: 'When wealthy bachelors arrive in their neighbourhood, the five Bennet sisters must navigate love, family, and society’s expectations to secure their futures.
'Jane falls for the charming Mr Bingley, while Elizabeth clashes with his proud friend Mr Darcy – but unexpected encounters and family scandals force Elizabeth to reconsider her feelings and discover the true nature of love.'
The six-part series is set to be released on Netflix on December 3.
