Filming on The Batman Part II was temporarily halted after a crew member was reportedly injured during an accident involving the Batmobile.
The incident is said to have occurred earlier this month while a high-intensity action sequence was being filmed for the highly anticipated sequel. According to reports, the scene went wrong during production, resulting in an unnamed crew member being struck by the vehicle.

The individual was taken to hospital for treatment and has since returned home, where they are recovering from their injuries.
Production on the film has now resumed at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire. The sequel sees Robert Pattinson return as Bruce Wayne, alongside an ensemble cast that includes Colin Farrell, Scarlett Johansson and Andy Serkis.

The Batmobile featured in the accident is believed to be the muscle car-inspired version introduced in the first film by director Matt Reeves. Its rugged design marked a departure from some of the more extravagant versions of the vehicle seen throughout Batman's cinematic history.
The franchise is known for staging ambitious action sequences, but this particular scene involved in the accident seems to have gone horribly wrong.

The film has already faced a number of production setbacks. Earlier this year, filming was briefly paused when Reeves stepped away for personal reasons. He was temporarily replaced by Ocean's Eleven director Steven Soderbergh.
The Batman Part II is currently scheduled to be released in February 2028.
