Recent industry rumours have suggested that The Bear star Jeremy Allen White may have held discussions with Marvel Studios regarding a major future role, leading many fans to wonder whether he could become the MCU's Wolverine.

White first rose to prominence as Lip Gallagher in Showtime's Shameless, earning praise for his portrayal of the intelligent but troubled eldest Gallagher sibling. His profile increased significantly through his award-winning performance as chef Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto in FX's The Bear, a role that established him as one of television's most acclaimed actors.

Although White's television career has flourished, his transition to leading film roles has produced mixed results.

Despite receiving positive reviews for portraying Bruce Springsteen in Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, several of his recent film projects struggled to attract box-office success. Even so, landing an iconic role such as Wolverine could represent a major career milestone and further elevate his standing within Hollywood.

Daniel Radcliffe is another name frequently linked to the role. Since concluding his time as Harry Potter, Radcliffe has deliberately sought diverse and unconventional projects, demonstrating his range as an actor. fans have commented on his physique in recent years has only fuelling speculation.

Meanwhile, Taron Egerton continues to enjoy strong support from comic book fans. The Kingsman actor has long been viewed as a natural fit for Wolverine thanks to his blend of intensity, charisma and action experience.

Whoever ultimately lands the role will have enormous expectations to meet. Jackman portrayed Wolverine across a 25-year period, appearing in multiple X-Men films before returning once again in Deadpool & Wolverine in 2024.

One factor working in White's favour is his physical resemblance to the comic-book version of Wolverine. While Jackman's height initially drew criticism from some comic purists, White stands closer to Logan's traditionally shorter stature.
