Double Oscar winner Cate Blanchett was pictured filming in Dublin for the first time in 22 years.

The actress was spotted donning a wig and glasses, while chatting on a mobile phone in a metallic blue Toyota, which was registered in 1997.

Blanchett was also snapped in the car, which was parked along Stoneybatter Dublin’s north inner city.

This project is titled Father, Mother, Sister, Brother, and is to be directed by legendary film maker Jim Jarmusch, who has described the movie as “a funny and sad film”.

Jarmusch had previously worked with Blanchett on the 2003 anthology Coffee & Cigarettes, where she played dual roles.
