Dublin rappers Versatile released their new single ‘Escape Wagon‘ featuring rap legend Coolio.
Versatile met and performed with the Gangsta’s Rapper star at Bulmers Live at Leopardstown earlier this year.
They are now taking over with the rap veteran by collaborating on a track that’s getting mad hits as they might say?
Escape Wagon sees Versatile raqmp up their profile alongside Coolio who’s drawn fire, so to speak, by rapping “Ringsend and Compton on a track, what the f**k’s up with that?”
Verstaile a.k.a. Casper and Eskimo saw their recent track ‘Prefontaine’ reached the Top 20 while they secured the first-ever number one hit on the Official Irish Homegrown Chart at the same time. Prefontaine was also the biggest song of the summer by an Irish group.
Versatile have a fan in another huge name in rap – Snoop Dogg. They will be supporting the chart-topping US rapper on his I Wanna Thank Me arena tour of the UK and Ireland next year.
