A teenage boy is in serious condition in hospital following an e-scooter incident in Coolock, Dublin.
Gardaí were alerted to the incident on Greencastle Road shortly after 4pm yesterday afternoon.
The teenager, who was travelling on an e-scooter, was found on the roadside with serious injuries.
He was taken to Beaumont Hospital, where his condition is understood to be serious.
The scene was closed for a forensic examination and has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area at the time to come forward with any information.
They are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have camera or dash-cam footage of the incident.
