Criminal Investigation Underway

A criminal investigation has been launched after a sightseeing riverboat capsized in the Hungarian capital Budapest.

7 people have died and at least 21 others remain missing.

The double-decker boat which was moored on the Danube River when it was hit by another tourist vessel.

After being hit, it turned over and sank into the river.

35 people were on board: two crew members and 33 South Korean tourists, the youngest of which is believed to be a six-year-old girl.

A spokesman for the Hungarian national ambulance service said there is a minimal chance of finding survivors.

Rescue efforts are proving extremely difficult and South Korean officials are on their way to Budapest.
