Daryl Hall has reassured fans that he is recovering well after undergoing a kidney transplant earlier this year.
The Hall & Oates star shared the health update in a message posted on social media, revealing that he recently received a kidney from a living donor and that the operation had been a success.

"I thought you should know that I recently received a kidney transplant from a very kind and generous living donor," Hall wrote on X.
"It happened a couple of weeks ago, and I'm already starting to feel better. It was, according to my doctors, a complete success!"
The 79-year-old singer said he expects to make a full recovery in the coming months and is already looking ahead to returning to work.
"I should be back to normal in a few months," Hall continued. "So get ready for more music and lots of Daryl's House shows."
The update was warmly received by fans, many of whom flooded social media with messages of support and well wishes following the announcement.
Hall's reference to Daryl's House will be particularly welcome news for longtime followers.
The series, officially known as Live From Daryl's House, launched in 2007 and has become one of his most successful solo projects.
The web-based music show features Hall performing alongside a wide range of guest artists, blending live performances with conversations and collaborations.
The programme began as one of the earliest examples of a musician creating original content directly for online audiences and has since developed a dedicated following.
Over the years, it has featured appearances from artists spanning rock, pop, country and soul.

Hall rose to fame as one half of the hugely successful duo Hall & Oates, alongside John Oates. Together they became one of the best-selling musical partnerships in history, scoring a string of hits including Maneater, Private Eyes, Out of Touch, Rich Girl and You Make My Dreams.
In recent years, Hall has continued to perform and record as a solo artist while maintaining Live From Daryl's House and touring with his own band.
