Eric Clapton has announced details for his 2026 Crossroads Guitar Festival.

The event will take place at the Moody Centre in Austin, Texas for the first time, running from September 26-27, and will feature a star studded line up of artists like ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, The Who's Pete Townshend, Buddy Gray, Joe Bonamassa, Del McCoury Band, John Mayer and Jimmie Vaughan among others.

It was confirmed that proceeds from these shows will go towards funding for Clapton's Crossroads Centre Antigua, which provides treatment and education to people who are dependent on alcohol and substances, as well as their families and significant others. The centre was founded in 1998.

This initiative means something to Clapton personally, having battled such issues, before eventually getting sober in the 1980s. He has often used his platform against such issues and resources to help others to get similar assistance.

Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday (April 3) at 10am local time via this link.

News of this comes after Eric Clapton added six extra dates in the Midwest US for September as part of his tour.

Beginning at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, Clapton will head over to Cincinnati, Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul, before closing the run at Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center on September 17. More on this from Nova here.
