Fontaines D.C. have added a second headline performance at Slane Castle after demand for tickets to their first show at the iconic Co Meath venue.

The Dublin rockers will now take to the stage on Sunday, June 27th, 2027, just one day after their previously announced concert on Saturday, June 26th.

The newly added date will feature an impressive supporting line-up, with Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams, acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Damien Dempsey and Madra Salach confirmed to perform. Further acts are expected to be announced in the coming months.

Fans will have the opportunity to secure tickets for the additional concert through the pre-sale from 10am on Wednesday, September 2nd, while general ticket sales will open at 10am on Thursday, September 3rd.

Tickets start at €89.25, with the price including booking fees and a €1 contribution to Focus Ireland. A 12.5% service charge will also apply to each ticket, capped at €10.50.

The announcement comes only days after Fontaines D.C. revealed that they would headline Slane Castle for the first time, following their appearance at Electric Picnic.

The concerts mark a major milestone for the Dublin group, who will join an illustrious list of artists to have headlined the historic venue. Previous Slane performers include Oasis, Madonna, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen and The Rolling Stones.

Fontaines D.C. will also make history as only the third Irish act to headline the famous outdoor venue, following in the footsteps of U2 and Thin Lizzy.

With a second date now confirmed, the band’s Slane Castle shows are set to become one of the biggest Irish live music events of 2027.
