Years after announcing he’d given up drumming, the Genesis front man is now considering returning to music and reforming the band.
The 62-year-old hasn’t played on stage in nearly four years after nerve damage and other health problems forced him to give up music, but in a recent interivew with German media, Collins says he’s “thinking about” returning to the studio: “Everything is possible…[Genesis} could tour Australia and South America. We haven’t been there yet.”
And why the sudden change of heart? It wasn’t fans or even his manager’s pleas that have Phil Collins looking to Turn It On Again, apparently he wants his kids to see him play.
