Hollywood actor Nicholas Hoult features in the new music video released by the Rolling Stones for ‘Mess It Up’.

Hoult who is renowned for his roles in ‘About A Boy’ and the X-Men franchise, portrays a man who embarks on an adventure, having escaped a domestic argument in this video.

The video which you can check out below, also includes footage of the late Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, from early recording sessions for the band’s ‘Hackney Diamonds’ album.

Produced by Don Was, a lot of the album was also recorded by Andrew Watt.

Having released this album last October, the Rolling Stones are to embark on a US Tour next year, featuring Tina Turner star Chanel Haynes. More on this here.

“you know its him” – Richards On Late Rolling Stones Drummer

Speaking recently, Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards shed further light on Watt’s involvement on this album.

“We had just started working on those tracks a few years ago, before Covid shut everything down”, Richards said.

“We left Charlie’s tracks as they were and re-did the vocals and everything else with Andy Watt. As soon as you hear that snare, you know it’s him”.

Richards also added, “Charlie could swing and he could roll it a little more than most straight rock drummers. Charlie always added a jazz tinge to everything he played, so there was always that slightly different feel about the Stones’ music”.

Last month, Keith Richards had promised that the Rolling Stones would not stop producing new albums until they “drop”.
