Succession star Jeremy Strong is in talks to star in the upcoming Bruce Springsteen biopic, Deliver Me From Nowhere, according to reports.

The actor is reportedly in the running to play the role of Bruce Sprinsteen’s longtime manager, Jon Landau, who became the singer’s manager in 1975, having first noticed him a year earlier.

Laundau went on to co-produce nine Springsteen albums between 1975 and 1992, including ‘Nebraska’, ‘Born To Run’, and ‘Born In The USA’.

Based on Warren Zanes’ book Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska, the biopic will explore Springsteen as he puts together his classic ‘Nebraska’ album, a record which took shape as The Boss and E Street Band were recording, ‘Born In The USA’.

‘Nebraska’ was a significant album for Springsteen, as he was going through a dark psychological period at the time, and had recorded these tracks as demos on a 4 track recorder.

Having initially considered recording them with the E Street Band, Springsteen eventually released them as demos.
