Jon Bon Jovi was forced to end his concert at Madison Square Garden early after falling ill during the latest show of Bon Jovi’s Forever Tour.
The 64-year-old singer was performing the eighth night of the band’s nine-show residency at the New York City venue when he stopped the performance after around 90 minutes.
Videos shared on social media showed Bon Jovi addressing the crowd and reassuring fans that he would try to reschedule the show.
"Don’t throw away your ticket stubs, I’m gonna figure something out, OK?" he told the audience.
"Just hold onto it, we’ll figure out how to reschedule."
The singer then hugged his bandmates, gave the crowd a thumbs up and left the stage to cheers from fans.

A spokesperson for Bon Jovi later confirmed that the singer had been battling a sinus infection, which caused the concert to end early.
"Jon Bon Jovi spoke from stage and told fans he has been battling a sinus infection, which led to the show’s early ending," the spokesperson said in a statement to Rolling Stone.
"As part of the Bon Jovi residency at Madison Square Garden, Jon has said numerous times that it has been a joy to return to live shows for the band."
The band said updated information would be shared in the coming days.
Bon Jovi is currently scheduled to return to Madison Square Garden on 26 July, before heading to the UK and Ireland for further tour dates.
The news comes after the singer previously stepped away from touring following surgery for a strained vocal cord in 2024.
In June, Bon Jovi said he was ready to return to the stage as part of the Bon Jovi Forever Tour, telling People magazine that he had fully recovered.
"I’m fully recovered," he said.
"It was longer than I’d ever expected, but it had to be right. We never lost faith."
He also praised his bandmates for supporting him during his recovery.
"They never doubted (me) and never looked for work or decided to retire," he said.
"The sacrifices that each one of them have made to be there for me is on a whole 'nother level."

Irish fans are still set to welcome Bon Jovi back to the stage later this year, with the band due to perform at Croke Park, Dublin, on Sunday, 30 August 2026.
The concert will mark the band’s first Irish performance in several years and forms part of their wider 2026 world tour, which also includes dates in New York, Edinburgh and London.
The tour follows the release of Forever (Legendary Edition), a collaboration album featuring artists including Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Williams and Avril Lavigne.

Announcing the tour, Jon Bon Jovi said he was looking forward to reconnecting with fans around the world.
"There is a lot of joy in this announcement – joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together," he said.
"I am lucky enough to be able to hold a light out to the audience each night and stand in their reflection for a tremendous collective experience – I get to stand in the we of our concerts."
