Keanu Reeves’ rock band Dogstar has announced a brand new album, marking another chapter in the group’s unexpected musical comeback.
The Los Angeles trio — made up of Keanu Reeves on bass, Bret Domrose on guitar and vocals, and Robert Mailhouse on drums — confirmed that their fourth studio album, All In Now, will be released on May 29 through their own label Dillon Street Records.
The announcement comes just two years after the band ended a two-decade hiatus with their 2023 comeback album Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, signalling that the group are fully back in creative mode.
Speaking about returning to the studio, Reeves said the band couldn’t wait to start working on new material again.
“We couldn’t f—ing wait. Personally, I loved it all. For me, the attitude was like, ‘let’s work hard and let’s go.’”
The new album was produced by Nick Launay, known for his work with artists including Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, IDLES and Amyl and the Sniffers. According to the band, the record captures the energy and friendship that has driven Dogstar since they first formed in the 1990s.

Drummer Robert Mailhouse said the spirit of the band remains the same decades later.
“The album really sets up the energy at the heart of this album and the fun that we’ve always had playing together.”
The trio have also released the first taste of the record with the title track All In Now, accompanied by a minimalist music video directed by Carlos Garcia Medina. The three-minute clip sees the band performing the melodic track together in a dimly lit room.
Mailhouse said the song perfectly reflects where the band is today.
“‘All In Now’ just whacks you in the head. Talk about a live song. Keanu came up with the title for that song too, and it sort of summed up where and who we are as a band today. It just feels true to us. We’re leaning in, and we are going to keep going.”
Reeves added: “And this is a good song to lean into, so we really are all in now.”
To support the new album, Dogstar will head out on a 25-date North American tour this summer before heading overseas for a series of UK and European shows.
Irish fans will also get the chance to see the band live when they perform at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on June 11 as part of the European leg.
The tour will kick off on May 28 in Highland, California, before travelling across the United States and then across Europe for a run of festival appearances and headline gigs through July. The band will later return to the US for more shows, wrapping the tour in Salt Lake City on September 3.
Dogstar originally formed in Los Angeles in 1991 and released two albums in the late 1990s and early 2000s before going on hiatus in 2002.
The band reunited in 2023, surprising many fans who knew Reeves primarily for his Hollywood career in films including The Matrix and John Wick.
Despite the long break, the group say their chemistry has remained intact, with touring over the past two years helping shape the sound of their new record.
Mailhouse recalled how the band were encouraged by audiences around the world during their comeback shows.
“Just seeing the smiles on people’s faces and feeling their joy on a musical level. Playing some outdoor festivals, and when it starts to rain, seeing nobody leaving.”
Reeves also said the band were particularly struck by the reaction they received from European crowds.
“Those festivals in Europe really made a big, positive impact on us. We loved playing to people in the afternoon who didn’t come to see Dogstar but connected with what we were doing. And that connected with us.”
The upcoming All In Now album will feature 12 tracks, including Math, This Sphere, Exalted, Siren, Punch The Sky, Joy, The Whisper and Shards of Rain, as the band continue to build momentum following their long-awaited reunion.
