Liam Gallagher’s instant classic All You’re Dreaming Of has already made a big impact and looks set to climb the charts as Christmas approaches.
The track’s profile is now boosted with the release of its official video, which was directed by Anthony Byrne.
Renowned for his work on ‘Peaky Blinders’, this represents the director’s second collaboration with Liam after the emotive video for ‘One Of Us’.
Shot in a timeless, wintry monochrome, the video’s imagery – from the brass band to a flurry of snow – captures the atmosphere of the festive season, while Liam’s performance lets the song’s sentiment speak for itself.
The final shot focuses on a etching on a window that states “THIS IS NOT HERE.”
It’s a subtle reference to John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’, the video of which features that exact same phrase. It was originally the title of a Yoko Ono art show from 1971.
Liam describes the video for All You’re Dreaming Of as “‘Imagine’ meets ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’.”
Already available digitally, ‘All You’re Dreaming Of’ will be released on vinyl on December 18th.
Liam followed the ‘Down By The River Thames’ show by teasing the possibility of live shows next summer.
