Having been forced to cancel several shows earlier this year, Lindsey Buckingham kicks off his solo tour next month. And we can’t wait!
The former Fleetwood Mac star was forced to cancel the US leg of his solo tour, after several of his band tested positive for Covid-19.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances and out of an abundance of caution, we’re forced to cancel the rest of Lindsey’s current North American tour due to members of the touring party testing positive for Covid. All tickets will be refunded. We hope Lindsey will be back in Town soon!”, Buckingham said in a statement.
He also spoke of the uncertain times that we found ourselves in.
“There certainly is a lesson in acceptance there, but there’s also a lesson in looking for what is really essential within those circumstances. And obviously what comes to light is that yes, I’ve got my talent and I value that greatly, and I value the choices I’ve made. Beyond that, I’m here, every day with my wife, and my children and that is the gift”, he said.
Buckingham Hitting The Helix
Kicking off his tour in Paris on September 19, Lindsey Buckingham will also perform on stage in The Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, along with several performances in the UK, including Bristol, London, Liverpool and Glasgow.
Irish fans will also be able to catch Buckingham in Dublin’s Helix on October 6.
Buckingam will return stateside to perform a string of concert dates from the end of October, right through November.
