A lost parrot was found at Dublin Airport, quite literally causing a flap.
The parrot, was found in a car park at the airport, which authorities are keen to reunite with its rightful owner.
The parrot was later confirmed as a female Alexandrine parakeet following a vet check.
Despite this, the parrot was named Troy, for obvious reasons.
Taking to X, Dublin Airport shared this update on Troy.
"Our lovely lady Troy has been confirmed as a female Alexandrine parakeet after a vet check this morning", they said. "She is safe, happy and being very well looked after by the Airport Police unit, but she would really like to go home".

Speaking earlier, Deputy Director of Communications at daa, Kevin Cullinane detailed how the parrot was discovered at the airport.
"Two of my airport police colleagues were on a routine patrol at Dublin Airport on Easter Sunday with their dog, Jimmy, when they were alerted by two Dublin Express coach sellers to a parrot perched on one of the bins outside Terminal 1", he revealed.
"Now, one of the officers had some nuts in his pocket as it happened. So he approached the parrot and the parrot seemed to be quite hungry", he added. "We thought it was a he at the time. We subsequently think it may be a she. But the parrot was happy to eat out of his hand".
Elsewhere, Mr Culinane said that they also offered Troy temporary accommodation with an old dog crate and old brush handle. They also supplied her food and toys from the canine unit.
"The parrot was quite happy to perch on the brush handle inside the dog crate", he said. "And he/she has been carefully looked after overnight while efforts are ongoing to try and return the parrot to his rightful home".
Mr Culinane also called on the owner of the parrot to contact airport police at Dublin Airport at 01 944 7777.
