Lotto players in Dublin are being urged to check their tickets after a lucky player became Ireland's newest millionaire.
The €1 million prize was won in Saturday night's Lotto Plus 2 draw, making the Dublin player the first person to win the new €1 million top prize since recent changes were made to the game.
The winning Lotto Plus 2 numbers on Saturday, September 12, were 05, 13, 19, 21, 23 and 42, with the bonus number 18.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning €1 million ticket was purchased by a Dublin player using a Quick Pick on the day of the draw.

The retail location where the winning ticket was sold will be revealed by the National Lottery over the coming days.
The win marks the first time the new €1 million Lotto Plus 2 top prize has been claimed since the changes to the game were introduced earlier this month.
There were also two significant wins in the main Lotto draw, with players in Dublin and Sligo each winning €21,756 after matching five numbers and the bonus.
The Dublin winner purchased their Quick Pick ticket from Tesco Ireland at Trinity Central on Pearse Street in Dublin 2.
The Sligo winner bought their ticket from Milo's on Main Street in Enniscrone, Co. Sligo.
The winning numbers in Saturday night's main Lotto draw were 1, 3, 9, 14, 16 and 19, with the bonus number 27.
The National Lottery is now urging all winners to check their tickets carefully.
“Saturday night's winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe,” the National Lottery said.
Winners should then contact the Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, with arrangements to be made for them to collect their prizes at Lottery HQ.
For the lucky Dublin player who matched the new Lotto Plus 2 top prize, the weekend has certainly been one to remember.
