Madness have announced a brand new studio album ‘Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est La Vie’.
The album which comprises of 14 tracks, will arrive on November 17 via BMG. It will be the band’s first album in 7 years.
Madness will release this album in the same month that they kick off their UK Arena Tour, which begins in Aberdeen on November 30.
New Madness Album “ready for your ears”
Madness confirmed the imminent release of this album in a joint statement.
“Well, well, well, here we are… our 13th album (lucky for some). ‘Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est La Vie’ is ready for your ears”, they said.
“For us, recording it was the perfect antidote to the chaos of the past few years – we were all there, properly in the zone. It was just us, in an industrial unit in Cricklewood, playing together. We loved it!”.
The lead single ‘C’est La Vie’ is available now.
On this track, bassist Mike ‘Barso’ Barson also added, “[‘C’est La Vie’ is] about these crazy times we’re living in, and how I just want to stay on my boat and not be a part of all this madness”.
“But of course, I’m a member of a group called Madness. Perhaps we should have called ourselves ‘Sanity’…”.
