A man in his 20s has been arrested after gardaí seized three firearms, ammunition, and an estimated €2.5 million worth of cocaine during an operation in Dublin's North inner city on Monday.
The suspect is currently being detained at a Garda station in the Dublin region under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
Three other people were also arrested during the operation, including two men in their 30s and a woman in her 20s.
Gardaí have since released the woman and one of the men without charge. The second man, who is also in his 30s, remains in custody.
Investigators are continuing their inquiries, and gardaí have confirmed that a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
