Moby and special guests have announced a live show at Irish Museum of Modern Art, Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin for this Summer.
The musician, supported by special guests, Faithless, will perform at the Dublin venue on 21 August this year, with tickets on sale this Friday (February 6) from 10 am via this link here.
Along with his own solo records, Moby, whose real name is Richard Melville Hall, has worked and produced with various artists such as David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne, Public Enemy, Daft Punk and The Beastie Boys. He has also worked with several non profit organisations, including Emily's List, The Humane Society and the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function.
Moby has also worked in television and media production with his company, Little Walnut, producing award winning documentaries, “Moby Doc” and “Punk Rock Vegan Movie,”. The company are also planning on Summer 2026 release of their first narrative feature, 'Tecie'.
Melville was born in Harlem, New York City in 1965, and was given his famous nickname by his father when he was 10 minutes old, thanks to his hereditary relationship to Herman Melville.
When he was 9 years old, Moby began playing classical music and studying music theory, before embracing the punk rock scene of New York City in the 1980s, releasing his first single, 'Go' in 1991, which was named as one of Rolling Stone magazine's best records of all time.
Overall, Moby has sold over 20 million records worldwide.
