A motorcyclist has been seriously injured following a collision on Dublin’s Con Colbert Road overnight.
The incident happened close to the junction with Sarsfield Road at quarter to 4 this morning.
The motorcyclists, a man in his late 30s, was rushed to St James Hospital where his condition is described as serious.
The road was closed for a time to allow a Garda Forensic Examination to take place but has now fully reopened.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact them.
