Mumford & Sons played a surprise show in honour of Apple's 50th Anniversary.
The band played this surprise set at London's Battersea Power Station, where they played of mixture of their biggest sets and newer tracks from their latest studio album, 'Prizefighter'. The special 50th anniversary celebrations was introduced by Apple Music 1 host, Dotty.
Elsewhere, a DJ set was also performed by Nia Archives from the power station's balcony, which was transformed into a shopping station that opened in 2021. A large Apple logo was projected onto the building at the end of the show.
The set list ranged from classics like 'Little Lion Man', and 'I Will Wait', to some newer tracks like 'The Banjo Song' from their Prizefighter album.

Ahead of their album release, Mumford 7 Sons released their single, 'The Banjo Song', which was co written by The National's Aaron Dessner and Jon Bellion.
The track itself begins with the verse: “On the dark side of the Earth/ Where the creatures are out/ I’m a man on the moon/ Midnight ‘round my neck/ And sunrise on my breath/ I still wait for you".
Frontman Marcus Mumford also asks: “Well, hey/ Did you call, did you fall, do you need someone?/ Do you need someone?”, before later admitting: “And, hey/ I’m a mess myself but I think I could be someone/ If you need someone".
