Nick Jonas is being touted to play Paul Stanley in an upcoming KISS biopic, it has been reported.

The film, titled Shout It Out Loud, is set to begin production either at the end of the year, or at the start of 2026, with sources saying that an agreement with Jonas is "near closed".

While details of the film's development have yet to be revealed, reports in Deadline have indicated that the biopic will look at the KISS' formation during the 1970s, with the film set to explore the first four years of KISS.

Reports have also suggested that Jonas will be recording his own vocals on the Paul Stanley performances, but will “need time to train to replicate the jet-engine vocals of Stanley”. Casting details regarding the rest of the band are yet to be finalised.

Previously, Nick Jonas had said in an interview that it would be his "dream" to play another music legend, Bruce Springsteen in a film about the singer's life.

“Growing up in New Jersey, Bruce obviously has a special place in my heart and my creative life", Jonas said. Adding "and it is a dream of mine… to play him in a movie one day and tell his story in some way that would be honouring to him and that he could be involved with".
