Oasis returned to the stage for the first time in 16 years just last month, kicking of their reunion tour in Cardiff. Since, the brothers have performed in Manchester's Heaton Park, London's Wembley Stadium and Dublin's Croke Park.
For each of their performances, fans have heard the exact same setlist, featuring some of their most popular songs from the 90s. However fans are speculating if they will switch up their setlist and play the songs that have been noticeably missed in the original setlist such as 'Lyla', 'Colymbia', and 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out'.
Rumours circulated about a possible setlist change for the North American leg of the tour, however the first Canadian date saw no changes as the Gallagher brothers performed the same collection of songs.
Matt Morgan, a close friend of Noel Gallagher, shared his thoughts on the setlist not varying on a recent episode of his podcast. Morgan also revealed that he had previously spoken to Noel about why this is the case.
Morgan also disclosed on his podcast that he had talked to Noel after one of his gigs in Wembley and told his listeners that "He looks so happy. He is." "I didn’t see him on the Friday because he just goes quickly but on Saturday, because he didn’t have a gig the next day, he was hanging out for a bit. He was well happy with it all."
“At various points I spoke to him in the last year about it, and he sort of moved his opinion of what [the set was] gonna be and what it is. I think it’s done so well and felt so good. He seems very happy with it. And he looks happy on stage, actually. He’s not plodding through it,” he continued.
