Noel Gallagher has reportedly split from his girlfriend Sally Mash after two years together.
The Oasis star was first linked to the high-society events manager in 2023, not long after finalising his divorce from his second wife Sara MacDonald. Their relationship quickly drew attention within music and social circles, with the pair occasionally spotted together at industry events and gatherings in London.
However, the couple have now reportedly gone their separate ways after deciding they were ultimately not right for one another.
According to reports, the split happened earlier this year and was said to be amicable, with the pair remaining on good terms.
A source told The Sun: "Noel and Sally split earlier this year. There was nothing dramatic, it was amicable, they just weren't right for each other.
"Noel and Sally have stayed the best of friends, there's no bad blood there."
The relationship came after a difficult period in Gallagher’s personal life. The musician separated from Sara MacDonald in 2022 after more than a decade of marriage. The former couple share two sons together, Donovan and Sonny.
Before that, Gallagherwas married to publicist Meg Mathews, with whom he shares daughter Anaïs Gallagher. Their marriage lasted from 1997 to 2001, during the height of Oasis’ fame in the Britpop era.
Despite the split from Sally Mash, the High Flying Birds frontman has remained busy professionally.
In recent years he has continued to tour and release music with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, the band he formed following the dramatic breakup of Oasis in 2009 after a long-running feud with his brother Liam Gallagher.
The singer-songwriter has also been back in the headlines in recent weeks after being booed at the 2026 BRIT Awards while accepting a prize. During his speech, Gallagher joked that “no one gives a shit about singer-songwriters anymore,” a remark that divided the audience and quickly sparked debate online.
While his personal life has once again shifted, Gallagher has often been open about valuing his independence. In interviews over the years, the outspoken musician has repeatedly joked about enjoying the freedom that comes with life on the road and his famously blunt outlook on relationships and fame.
For now, sources suggest the split from Sally Mash was simply a case of two people realising the relationship had run its course – with both moving on while staying on friendly terms.
It was a night of celebration, nostalgia and raw emotion at the 2026 BRIT Awards — but not everyone received a hero’s welcome.
Noel Gallagher was met with audible boos from sections of the crowd after collecting the Songwriter of the Year award at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena.
The former Oasis guitarist was honoured following the band’s hugely successful reunion tour, which saw the Britpop legends sell out arenas across the UK and around the world. Taking to the stage, Gallagher thanked his bandmates — including brother Liam Gallagher — for bringing his songs to life.
“They brought those songs to life, without them I’d just be a singer-songwriter and no one gives a s**t about singer-songwriters,” he told the crowd.
The remark was met with audible boos echoing around the arena.
Gallagher continued regardless, turning sincere as he thanked fans for sustaining the band’s music for more than three decades.
“More importantly, I’d like to thank you, the people who’ve kept those songs alive for the last 35 years. Without you, you’ve given us the most extraordinary life, and thank you very much for that.”
But the tension wasn’t over.
As he left the stage, the 58-year-old shouted, “Up the f**king Blues!” — a reference to Manchester City F.C.. The football allegiance sparked a second round of boos, likely from rival supporters in the Manchester crowd.
The night's host, Jack Whitehall, concluded Gallagher's speach with an equally awkward quip: 'Oh, dear...' before moving on swfitly with the rest of the ceremony.
Backstage at The Brit Awards, Noel spoke about the success of the Oasis reunion tour. He said that it was “the most incredible thing that any of us have ever done. To come back after all these years, to get number one albums and all that is pretty mad, but we loved every minute and every second of it.”
“The gigs were amazing, particularly the ones in Manchester, and I’m kind of lost for words for it, really. The gigs spoke for themselves," he continued.
The singer admitted that it was "overwhelming" at some of the venues "to see the love for the band after all these years.”
He continued to say that he thought every show was a "ten out of ten" and admitted that they were “better than the ’90s” and “as good as it gets."
Noel also provided an update on the upcoming documentary centred around the reunion gigs, “I’ve only seen a tiny little bit of it and it’s difficult to have an opinion on it because I’m only looking at little snippets,” he said. “Everyone who has seen it, or seen more of it than I have, has said that it’s amazing. If it even captures five per cent of what that tour was, it’ll be astonishing. Looking forward to it," he continued.
The upcoming documentary is said to feature footage of the Gallagher brothers "working through their feud" and footage of their first meeting ahead of their reunion tour.
In the midst of their reunion tour it was announced that Steven Knight would be serving as producer with Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace serving as directors. The Mirror quoted a source speaking about the behind the scenes access granted to the production team, they said: “The footage and access given to Steven and his team is phenomenal. Liam and Noel have never been seen in such an open and vulnerable way."
“This is much greater than a ‘let’s do it for the money’ comeback. It centres on deep-seated emotions – jealousy, ill-will, anger – and then a deep desire for reconciliation. The footage of them being reunited, and discussions of how that came to be, will see the pair of them opening up like never before. It was very raw and deeply moving. Liam had to man up and make apologies and take ownership of much of the cause of the issues. Noel, too, stepped up," they continued.
Dylan Southern stated last month that the documentary "will be released some time this year. Oasis will announce when very soon".
