Oasis co-founder Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs has claimed that he has already heard the upcoming collaborative album by Liam Gallagher and John Squire “from start to finish”, calling it “very good”.

The pair had confirmed that a joint project was in the works, revealing that their first single will be released in the new year.

Last week, former Oasis singer Gallagher shared a video clip of former Stone Roses’ guitarist John Squire playing the guitar from previous years, including some on stage performances with Oasis.

The video also saw Gallagher describe Squire as “the best guitarist of his generation and in the world”.

Alongside the clip, Gallagher also shared a link to a website via his Instagram bio. See here.

“I’ll keep you in suspense” – Bonehead

Speaking on his Christmas Day show, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs claimed that he has already hear the upcoming Gallagher & Squire album.

“I’m not involved in any way whatsoever, but I’ve heard it”, Arthurs told co-host Toby Tarrant.

“I’m not going to tell you anything. I’m going to keep you all in suspense. I’m not gonna say it’s this, that or whatever, but I’ve heard it from start to finish, and I’ll keep you all going, ‘Go on, tell us, tell us, tell us’”.

Elsewhere, Arthurs also added that it “wasn’t for (him) to say” anything more on this album.

“I shall leave it to the man himself,” Bonehead stated. “It’s very good”.

Earlier this month, Liam Gallagher also confirmed that he will take his special 30th anniversary ‘Definitely Maybe’ tour to Limerick’s Thomond Park next year, a tour which will also feature ‘Bonehead’ on stage.
