“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is my favourite, Inglourious Basterds is my best,” he said before stating that 'Kill Bill' is “the ultimate Quentin movie”. He continued to say that nobody else could have made it, "every aspect about it is so particularly ripped, like with tentacles and bloody tissue, from my imagination and my id and my loves and my passion and my obsession. So I think Kill Bill is the movie I was born to make, I think Inglourious Basterds is my masterpiece, but Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is my favourite.”
The director discussed his screenplays with the podcast host The Reverend Scott K.“I think Inglourious Basterds is my best script, and I think Hateful Eight and Once Upon a Time In Hollywood are right behind,” Tarantino said.
Tarantino has produced a number of iconic films over the years, including Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds, released his latest film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood in 2019. The director revealed that he is currently working on the sequel of Once Upon A Time In Hollyood, named The Adventures of Cliff Booth, which focusses on Brad Pitt's character in the orginial film.
However, the legendary film director will not be directing the sequel of the 2019 film. He will be writing the screenplay, but will be handing over the director position to David Fincher. Tarantino explains the reason for this in the podcast 'Church Of Tarantino' as he says that “I think me and David Fincher are the two best directors.” “So the idea that David Fincher actually wants to adapt my work, to me, shows a level of seriousness towards my work that I think needs to be taken into account,” he continues.
Carla Gugino, Yaha Abdul-Mateen II, Elizabeth Debicki and Scott Caan will all star alongside Pitt in the sequel of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
