Radio Nova has received 4 nominations in the 2025 IMRO Radio Awards, showcasing the best and brightest talents across the Irish radio industry. The Awards ceremony will be held this Friday October 3rd, 2025, at the Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny.

We’re nominated for Station Imaging, - which refers to jingles, idents, voiceovers and all pre-produced elements used to define the ‘station sound’ and brand position- it's basically the audio "image" that the station puts forward to represent what it says about itself.

Also, Kieran McGuinness is shortlisted for the Irish Music Hour on the Nova Guestlist for best “Irish programme or Initiative", and there’s two nods for Marty Miller – 1 for his Seriously Addictive Music News in the “Entertainment Inserts” category, the other in “Music, Arts and Culture Documentary” for “Rory Gallagher, Bad Penny”.

The awards are sponsored by IMRO, representing the rights of music creators in Ireland, and Coimisiún na Meán, the independent regulator for Irish broadcasting and on-demand services.
