Radio Nova Announces ‘50 Irish Albums That Changed The World’ for St. Patrick’s Bank Holiday Weekend

Radio Nova is celebrating St Patrick’s Day with a special on-air feature highlighting some of the most influential Irish records ever made.

Across the weekend, the station will play Radio Nova’s 50 Irish Albums That Changed The World, a curated list of landmark albums that have left a lasting impact on listeners both in Ireland and around the globe. The feature will begin this Friday evening and run right through the St Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Listeners are also being invited to take part by sharing the albums that have meant the most to them.

The list will showcase a wide range of iconic Irish artists, including U2, The Cranberries, Snow Patrol, Hozier, Kodaline, The Coronas and Sinéad O’Connor, among many others who have shaped Ireland’s musical legacy.

Listeners can tune in throughout the weekend to celebrate the records that helped define Irish music, including on St. Patrick's Day, only on Radio Nova.
