Queen's Roger Taylor has spoken about the possibility of the band touring again.
The band who are fronted by singer Adam Lambert, have not toured since they hit North America in 2023, as part of their 'Rhapsody Tour', which had previously seen them head over to the UK and Europe the previous year. Their most recent shows took place in Asia in early 2024.
Speaking to BBC Radio 2, Roger Taylor said: “Well, it is a big machine to gear up, if you know what I mean".
“I think it’s more down to Brian [May] than me. I love playing live. I enjoy it, always have".
Roger Taylor went to explain that the possibility of Queen touring again is mainly down to how Brian May “feels about it”, before saying he would jump at the chance, adding, “So if we both wanna do it, I’d be happy to. But we’ll see. Never say never".
Taylor then went on to praise current singer, Adam Lambert: “We have been working for a while with Adam Lambert, who has the most incredible voice".
Back in March, Queen announced plans to reissue their sophomore album, Queen II.
The reissued album, which arrived on March 27 this year, included a collector's edition box set featuring the 2026 mix of the album, as well as audio of the band working in the recording studio, as well as previously unheard demos and outtakes, live tracks and radio sessions.
“Queen II was the single biggest leap we ever made,” Brian May said of the album in a press release. “That’s when we really started making music the way we wanted to, rather than the way we were being pushed into recording it".
Queen II was originally released in 1974, and has been described by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as "a pillar of grandiose, assaultive hard rock". You can pre order the album via this link here.
