Richie Sambora has hinted he hopes to rejoin Bon Jovi in the future.
The lead guitarist, who co-wrote many Bon Jovi hits including Never Say Goodbye, said goodbye to his Bon Jovi bandmates back in April prompting speculation of money and power problems between him and the lead singer.
However, Jon Bon Jovi had always maintained there was no bad blood between him and Richie, who now says he left the band for “family time”.
Sambora told Billboard in the US: “I just started spending time with my kid between [tour] legs, and my spirit wouldn’t pull myself out the door. I just needed to be home”, adding, he hopes to be back in Bon Jovi in the future: “I don’t think it’s going to be the end of the band or anything like that.”
