Steve Coogan has at last offered confirmation that the much-anticipated return of Alan Partridge’s to TV will arrive on the BBC next month.
This Time With Alan Partridge sees the legendary host receive an “unlikely career lifeline” when he becomes the presenter of ‘This Time’ which is a television magazine programme that beard a remarkable resemblance to The One Show.
Following a year of shooting Coogan has now confirmed that it’ll hit our screens this February. The comedian revealed on Marc Marron’s podcast how the new series will highlight Alan’s efforts to “get on message” with an estranged BBC audience.
“What we do is we have him trying to jump on the bandwagon and say, you know, he says ‘Hey! I’ve made mistakes, I’ve stood on the side of the sidewalk and slow hand-clapped while I watch a woman try to parallel park, you know, and I feel bad about that. And now if I saw a woman doing it now, I would shout instructions’,”
