You might be familiar with his cheeky face as ‘Dustin’ from the hit Netflix show, ‘Stranger Things’, but Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin is also a keen musician.
He brought his band ‘Work In Progress’ to the famous Stone Pony stage in New Jersey recently. The Stone Pony has hosted legends like Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen in the past and the band covered all things rock in the form of Fall Out Boy, Paramore and Foo Fighters.
Last month we were treated to clips of the band’s performance of Pearl Jam and Jimmy Eat World covers, which were posted on Gaten’s Instagram profile.
But in these latest clips, we can see Matarazzo and the band performing in front of a huge crowd, as they cover Fall Out Boy’s 2005 hit ‘Sugar, We’re Goin Down’. They go on to cover Foo Fighters’ ‘Everlong‘ and Paramore’s ‘Misery Business‘.
The rest of The Stranger Things cast celebrated last month with an impressive four nominations for the Screen Actors Guild awards, including Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for Millie Bobby Brown, who plays ‘Eleven’.
