Stranger Things Vinyl Boxset To Be Released This Summer

The original Netflix sci-fi drama, Stranger Things became a pop culture obsession when it came out last year. It brought Winona Ryder back to our screens, gained huge audiences, and possibly most notably provided us with an incredibly unique soundtrack. Before the American sci-fi horror returns to Netflix for its second season this October, a limited edition vinyl reissue of both volumes of the soundtrack will be released as a deluxe box set.

On this day in 1991, 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go' gave English punk rock band, The Clash their only UK No.1 single and No. 2 in the Irish singles chart; after the track was used for a Levi's TV advertisement. Set in a pool hall with pool shark included, check out the infamous 90’s Ad out here. The reissue of ‘Should I Stay Or Should I Go’ was a decade after its initial release, in 1982 and was taken from their album Combat Rock.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have recently made an exciting announcement! The Australian rock band who were formed in Melbourne in 1983 by vocalist Nick cave, multi-instrumentalist Mick Harvey and guitarist Blixa Bargeld, have released sixteen studio albums and have gone through various line ups. Nick Cave and founding member, bad seed Mick Harvey have joined forces again along with help from the current bad seeds to compile tracks for a new ‘best of’ album. The career spanning compilation is entitled Lovely Creatures.
