Some hobbies can make men appear more attractive to women than others, according to a new survey which has ranked the least appealing pastimes.
The poll, conducted by Date Psychology, found that drinking was among the 15 least attractive hobbies a man can have.
Despite making the list, drinking ranked well above several other activities, including gambling, watching pornography and taking part in the so-called “manosphere”.

Around 55% of men in the UK drink alcohol at least once a week, according to figures cited in the research.
Men are also more likely than women to drink regularly, with men consuming an average of 17.6 units of alcohol in a typical week.
The survey found that the “manosphere” was considered the least attractive hobby on the list.
The term refers to a collection of online communities and influencers focused on masculinity and traditional gender roles. Some parts of the manosphere have been criticised for promoting misogynistic views and hostility towards feminism.
Gambling and pornography were ranked second and third respectively, while arguing online also made the top five.
Collecting Funko figures was another hobby included in the list. Funko produces vinyl figures and bobbleheads based on characters from popular films, television shows and other franchises.

Other hobbies considered less attractive included marijuana use, clubbing, cigars, cryptocurrency, make-up and anime.
Magic: The Gathering, a popular trading card game, also appeared among the 15 least attractive hobbies, alongside debating and cosplay.
The findings come as people continue to debate which hobbies and interests can influence attraction and dating preferences.
